This is one amazing video of my girl, Shimmer giving birth to her 2nd baby in her 2nd litter. She only had 2 babies this time, pete, the first one born, which there is no footage of, and April, who you can see emerging from her mother. You can also see how good Shimmer is as a mum, she is very quick to clean April when she emerges, meaning she can start breathing. She then licks everything off her. At the very end you can see her pop out one of the after births, and she starts to eat it, to get something back into her body after giving birth
This video always makes me cry. My little baby grace before she died, showing us all that she could walk, even with no back feet. In the short time she was here she made me very happy, but it was also a very upsetting thing to whitness. It wasnt her fault she was born like this. But this video shows how much love Grace gave to everyone who thought about her.
